Hauraki Gulf field trial
Healthy Waters, Healthy People
The worlds first catchment-wide real-time water quality monitoring trial will be the inaugural data gathering exercise for RiverWatch. We will be working in partnership with Ngai Tai ki Tamaki, Auckland Regional Council, Friends of Te Wairoa, Callaghan Innovation, Spark NZ, and the Clevedon Valley community to establish an IoT network with a series of connected devices. This project is supported by Gulf Innovation Fund Together and is helping to gather information on the mauri of the Hauraki Gulf.
WAIRARAPA FIELD TRIAL
Baseline monitoring for Riparian rehabilitation
We are currently in negotiation to set up a field trial in the Wairarapa. This project will run for 3 years and look at the impacts of stock exclusion from streams and the benefits of riparian planting to water health.
